The Green Cleaning Revolution Method
Items Needed:
- 2-3 Clean-it Cloths
- Soap-it Nuts
- Oxy-Clean or other non-chlorine bleach product
- Washing Soda
- Baking Soda
- Vinegar
- Earth Stone (recycled pumice available from
Wal-Mart in the sponge section)

I have been using both the Clean-it Cloth and
Soap-It Nuts for a year now and can honestly say that our
family no longer uses any paper towels or any other toxic
or chemical cleaning products. I am saving time, money and
helping our environment!
You will be able to clean anything in your house
effectively with the items above and no other toxic cleaners.
The Clean-it Cloth will clean any type of surface. It is good
to have one for windows, mirrors, and delicate surfaces. The
other one can be used for deeper cleaning such as bathrooms,
kitchens, and cars. Use the cloth over and over rinsing it
as you go along. I use non-toxic Oxy-clean or baking soda
for scrubbing sinks, tubs, toilets, floors.
Soap-It Nuts will wash your clothes but I recommend
using the detergent booster Oxy-clean for whites and/or very
soiled clothes. Washing Soda is also very good detergent booster.
Make liquid with the Soap-It Nuts by boiling 6-7 pieces in
four cups of water. This amber liquid can be used for washing
clothes, dishes or general cleaning. It easily cuts through
grease and grime. Try boiling the nuts a second time for more
liquid.
Toilets:
Sprinkle with Oxy-Clean in toilet
and let soak a few minutes before cleaning with brush. Hard
water spots can be removed with the EarthStone.
Stove top:
Scrub the Clean-it Cloth and
baking soda.
Shower Doors:
Use Clean-It Cloth with
white vinegar to remove hard water stains.
Spills:
No paper towels needed when you
use the Clean-it Cloth.
Swifter:
The Clean-It Cloth will fit
onto the bottom. Rinse and re-use as you clean.
These are just a few of my ideas and I
am sure if you experiment you will find your own ways to clean.
